This chemo hasn’t been kind to Nicholas. We spent the last weekend in the hospital where he had several blood and platelet transfusions.

Who else thought January would never end?

I celebrated a birthday and Nicholas had his second round of chemotherapy, two days after.

For my birthday, I bought myself a taller toilet, and a life insurance policy…. ah, adulthood.

This chemo hasn’t been kind to Nicholas. We spent the last weekend in the hospital where he had several blood and platelet transfusions. By the time we had gotten there Friday evening, his body had already stopped producing its own cells. Unfortunately hours passed before the first transfusion, as the hospital didn’t have his type. We had to wait for the state blood bank to scramble to find some. It was tough to watch, and awful to go through I would imagine.

Thankfully we are back home, Nicholas is doing well, and feeling much better.

He had scans on February 13, to see the results from this new chemotherapy. 🤞🏻

I would like to apologize to any friends who had plans to visit our past booths that had to be canceled. But, we sincerely appreciate those who’ve checked in on us via DM.

Please, make some time to go donate blood or platelets it could save a fellow humans life.
